"A professional writer is an amateur who didn’t quit.” — Richard Bach

I write a lot. Sometimes the words I string together are for a client, and other times I write simply because it provides  me with a sense of grounding when all else feels lost. I write for Willamette Week – Portland’s Pulizter Prize-winning alternative newspaper – in the Arts & Culture Department while maintaining personal blogs in my spare time. And I keep everything here, if only for the sake of simplicity. If you like what you see, don’t be shy – let’s get in touch to chat, strategize, or work together.

Here you’ll find a collection of my works that have been published over my lifetime as a writer. Many of these articles center around the food, cannabis, and outdoor industries, all of which I’ve enjoyed covering moreso than any other topics.

Ascension was created to serve as the channel for all things outdoors. Be it news, tips, insights, or stories this is where most of my additional writing is directed. I hope to continue growing Ascension while inviting others to contribute as well.
